The independent record of what actually happened.

LifeBench is an open standard for recording what products, services, advice and policies actually did to the people who lived with them — confirmed by people who were there, not claimed by the seller.

A scoreboard is only worth trusting if no one being scored can touch it.

Open

The rules are published here in full, versioned, and free for anyone to read and adopt.

Independent

No company being scored, no AI maker, no investor can own this standard or quietly change it.

Tested

We publish the pass mark before we sit the exam, and we publish the results — including the failures.

Status: the governance charter is published in draft for adoption; the independent steward is being constituted; current test protocols are registered on the Methods page before their results exist.
